Sitting here watching show on punishing kids . Shame on you for having only people that think it's wrong to spank children or punish them for bad behavior. As you found out most people do not think its wrong to spank children. There are a lot of kids that never get the teaching to be kind etc.I have lots of grandchildren, when they are at my house its my rules. Every one is different but one is determined to have his way no matter who it herts or upsets. His parents do everything the so called specialist say are the right way and nothing has worked for 10 years. He is not perfect at my house but I don't have problems with him like his parents do because he knows there will be consequences that match the crime. They range from time out to spanking. He always comes to me later on his own to say he is sorry and he loves me. He is always the first one to want to come visit and doesn't want to go home. So called expeats don't live like most people in the United States with low income or middle class which is now considered low income in schools that say they don't tolerate bullying thats a lie they all have it but rules don't allow punishment that even comes close to correcting the problem. Stick with the one who really has the answer Spare the rod Spoil the Child
