My inner child has been awakened because the live action version was not only nostalgic from the 1992 version, but it was filled with a great cast especially Will Smith, visual effects of the animal characters, magic carpet, and cave of wonders from Industrial Light and Magic, action sequences of excitement, intensity, and humor, musical numbers from the great Disney music composer: Alan Menken, and a great tribute to the comedic diamond in the rough: Robin Williams.

Antonie Fuqua has made an epic sequel as a director and it became his fourth trademark to Denzel Washington's acting career. I enjoyed his performance as the ex-spy, who still helps people, trying to redeem himself from the horrible things that he's done in the past. In the first film, Robert became a father figure to a russian prostitute and he encouraged her to change her world from the life of crime. In this sequel, he becomes a father figure to a troublesome black young man, which means the chemistry between the two of them was inspiring to audiences. The loss of an old friend was devastating to Robert and his mission for revenge was activated. Denzel is now known as the actor with his first sequel. In addition, the action sequences were well-created and intense.

James Cameron's epic masterpiece is one of my all-time favorite sci-fi films. The visual effects from Industrial Light and Magic is marvelous and the film did win Best Visual Effects, Sound Mixing, Best Sound Editing at Oscars from the 90's. In addition, the bond between man and machine is one of the most iconic moments in cinema history. The action sequences are memorable from start to finish. The characters are very likable and the messages includes: understanding the consequences of creating unknown technology, possibility of finding hope for the future, and preparing for the worst outcome.

As a sci-fi fan, Transformers is one of the films that lack character development, screen time between the autobots and decepticons; however, the film has epic visual effects from Industrial Light and Magic, epic music score, epic action sequences, great cast, and great dialogue. Michael Bay is a director who take his work more serious with explosions, vehicles, and making the robots realistic in today's world.

Director, Antoine Fuqua, has created a well-known story about an ex-spy Robert McCall serving vigilante justice to the helpless who can't escape the impossible circumstances of their own. Denzel Washington's performance is spectacular as always and his character is part Jason Bourne and Bryan Mills. Not only does the film has the best cast, action sequences, music score, and storyline, but the film has positive messages about accepting second chances in life.
