This is top shelf physical comedy. The hilarity and tension is maintained throughout. You might have to get your Scottish on to get all the dialog, but this film deserves a lot more recognition than it has gotten. If Cinema Paradicio can become an international classic, then leave some space for this work of art.

There’s a lot going on here, it doesn’t hurt to revisit the episodes after awhile. The characters grow on you. As a senior who left Scotland at a young age, I have no difficulty relating to the humour.
