I saw the original movie "The Blair Witch Project" many many years ago. I loved the jump scares and the storyline. Tonight I watched Blair Witch (2016) at home on tv. I knew the story line already. I thought it was great! I wish I had seen it in the movie theater instead of at home. Definitely watch this and turn all of your lights out and have popcorn. Fun jump scares, and if you already know the story from the original, then you know how things roll.

This movie was unique and had some good jump scares, which I love! Without going into too much to spoil the plot I have to say that the acting in this was really good. It's definitely filmed in mostly dark places and the audio helps the jump scares also. Go grab some popcorn and a pop and enjoy a couple hours. Fyi, some parts are pretty gorey, so be prepared for that. I had to close my eyes alot to that. See this movie before you read too much about it.

It's different. M.Night Shyalman movies are always some of my favorites to watch and I have seen them all (I thought). He is unique and creative. Not horror at all, but I say worth the watch. I liked it. I don't remember this one ever being in the movie theater so I was glad to catch it on Syfy. No spoilers from me...watch it!

M. Night Shyamalan is one of favorites! I already knew the plot line from the trailer, so nothing was new in the beginning. The first half of the movie was what we realized would happen, but once the second half rolled around it got more exciting. Yes, far fetched on how Cooper can outsmart everyone and know what the plan is, but then it gets a bit better. I love that M. Night is in the movie and his daughter did great acting in it also as the singer. I recommend it. Don't read too many reviews or it will spoil it for you, if you plan on going. Just go. It's just the right length in running time also.

I am not one to do unfavorable reviews, but here are the pros and cons. Pros: Beautiful scenery wherever it was filmed, randomly, as seasons changed and so did the terrain. Loved that. The music/audio they added to it was great. It added to the scenery when they introduced different areas in the movie. I loved that. Cons: Way too long of a movie to sit through! Three hours! Way too long!!! People were using the restroom all of the time. I couldn't sit much anymore and took 3 breaks myself to get out of my seat. Most people were just roaming for a break. The storyline was all over the place, so it was difficult to keep up with who, what, and when. It jumped around. It made me want to close my eyes and hope it was almost at the three hour mark so that I could leave the theater. When it ended I couldn't wait to get out and be outside in real life. They could have kept it down to 2 hours and lessened the scenes. Needless to say I will not go see the next one in August of 2024. Note...don't bring kids to this movie. It's violent during the fights and I had to close my eyes and plug my ears during all of that stuff. History isn't pretty.

Great flick! I like to go to movies right away when they first come out, before all the comments and negatives happen. Here's my input without saying too much: it's not super violent. It has a good story from start to finish. No super bad foul language. I liked the story and the spin on things. Go see it before its not on the big screen, because it's never as fun when you are back in your home.

Super cute fun PINK movie. It's not for little kids. More for teens at the youngest, and the older generations, for sure, who grew up with Barbie, myself included.Very whimsical. See it on the big screen, don't wait for tv. "Hi Barbie" has never been so heard often before in a movie. LOL.

This movie is slow. No jump scares. It twists all over the place, but I kept watching. Any mother would never act as calm as this one did if her child was missing. But, for a Netflix flick I held on and watched til the end, which they say has a twist. I just knew something was off but was ready for it to be over. If you want jump scares, don't watch it. Hope your popcorn at home was tasty because this movie is just lame.

I loved the Haunting of Hill House, so I was excited for this one. It is nothing like it and it did nothing for me. I did like some of the ghosts that we got to spot. Overall this one did nothing for me, although the actors and actresses did a great job and that alone should be recognized for a Netflix show. They are talented! Favorite episode was #8 , as it was Manor history and narrated so well and really pulled you into the story. Glad I watched the whole series, but if you are hoping for the greatness of The Haunting, it is not there.

Loved it! They did a great job with the characters and flashbacks of the characters as kids. Ignore any of the negatives you may read about this movie. It is a definite big screen must see. Don't wait for ppv or DVD. The bigger the screen and Dolby surround sound, the better. Enjoy. It is a long movie, but I think that made it better.
