There is absolutely no excuse for this nonsense. Every actress in this series thinks screeching at the top of her lungs, endlessly, is either funny or a fast road to an Emmy. It is not; it simply shows the inadequacies of the cast, the writers and the producers. I can’t believe anyone directed this garbage and said “yes, this will do”. It doesn’t, not by a long-shot!

The police department is full of ugly, unwashed, foul mouthed psychopaths. The criminals aren’t much better but at least they shower. There is not one character to like. This is an unbearable and complete waste of time with the dubious distinction of turgid writing. Avoid at all cost.

Dreadful. Absolutely dreadful. This series is riddled with every cliche imaginable and seems to have no shame in being insipid as well. Miss Scarlet is nothing more than a petulant ten year old girl with no charm or charisma. The writers are pathetic and it is alarming this is the best they can do. Don’t waste your time on this fluff. There is not one likeable character in the series and no chemistry between actors. I don’t know why they bothered to put this on the air. Where is Sally Lockhart when you need her?
