I have watched Top Chef from the very first season when Padma and Tom Colicchio we’re not executive producers or producers in no way involved. I fell in love with the show. I watch every season I was there for every moment but as the years have gone by we are in season 17 and I find Tom Calicchio and Padma continue to eliminate all of the black Chefs. immediately if not closer to the end it appears. Tom Calicchio never has anything positive to say about the black chefs or its strained on their food example, Carla Harris in the past was a classically trained French chef and she was absolutely a good cook I mean she went on to bigger and better things but he eliminated her for some criticism. So it seems as though in 17 seasons not a black person or person of color has been considered a good Chef. They are all eliminated l At the current time we see and I am in Atlanta that this person who pose with a dead deer, a buck picture which was very very sad for me being a member of ASPA and Peta, he is at the top of all of this season. it’s because Tom likes him. I will stop looking at Top Chef going forward. I don’t want the show to give anybody black or of color a position of winning the title just because of the color but not be so critical on all of what they do as Tom does. Tom was not classically trained and I am not sure he is as good as people think. He doesn’t appear to even know how to hold his silverware. Top Chef look back at your 17 seasons and reassess!
