I was worried Will Smith would over do it. But he kept the character where it needed to be, made it his own, without spitting on Robin's version (i.e Jared Leto).
Aladdin was thoughtful and not nearly as cocky as the cartoon. Jazmine was more than a prize to be won. She played a role in her own destiny this time. Sultan isn't just a bumbling idiot.
The choreography is very Bollywood and fun. The costumes are beautiful! The magic and graphics are so well done (and not over done either)
I highly recommend it, aside from watching for the nostalgia bomb that it is.
