I enjoyed this book. At no point however did I feel "horror", apart from how disgusting society treats the creature. Frankenstein's arrogance causes all of his own misfortune. Even the creatures "last" social interaction is filled with gaslighting and deflection. The creature is the victim of the tale. I had zero pre conceptions going into this, so this is just my reaction.

Overall plot was interesting, the movie played like a bad anime at parts. Everyone gets the *cool dialogue or epic moment * but as a whole it's a fun ride. Sit back, eye roll, groan. And simply enjoy the cheese.
