Okay so I saw this movie The Tax Collector yesterday because I have been obsessing over it for weeks and I am so disappointed. The beginning had my undivided attention until he gets that call from the head hancho laughing at him. I was like wait a minute you’re bringing in money to this man and all he could do is laugh at you on the phone (no respect). So the movie moves on and somebody stole 20/k from dude and you let that dude get away with stealing from you because his daughter is dying of cancer. If you need help you ask you don’t steal. Now I’m starting to question how gangster is this guy?? Then this Conejo guy comes along and chops your uncles head off and you walk away.... The next day you have a meeting with your boys and they kill all ten of them and come to find out you don’t have any other boys to back you up!!!! Really? I am sorry but this is not a gangster movie because this is not how gangsters operate. This movie made no sense even til the very end I was like REALLY??? Let me direct that movie and I’ll make it gangster. This movie was #funnybunny gangster movie. It sucked!
