The mc is a girl named Lena who always pushes everything to tomorrow but what happens when tomorrow isn't guaranteed? This book taught me some real life important lessons. would definitely recommend if you're looking for a romance book that would touch your heart. OH i forgot to mention it's childhood friends to lovers ;)

I thought i'd hate this book. Us Hijabis have been let down multiple times even sometimes by our own people. I was skeptical at first because I thought she'd take off her hijab the second the yt man showed her any attention and Blah Blah.. yk the typical way media portrays us? I should've known Tahereh Mafi wouldn't ever let me down & to that I say: I'm sorry queen for making these awful assumptions. I've been in a reading slump for the past 2 months and FINALLY I found a good book that had me hooked from the start.

I can't find the right words to describe this book, it's like one of those books you just have to read for yourself to find out. This book had me giggling at the back of the library because at times Ove is so relatable. Despite everything, It also broke my heart and it left me feeling empty inside.

THIS IS MY THEORY! i'm team manuscript and i truly believe that verity is evil. I believe she loved her husband more than she loved her children. I also believe she let Harper drown. I don't think Jeremy is innocent tho. I think he found her manuscript and attempted to murder her but since she survived, he just accepted the fate. I believe what led him to killing her in the end was the fact that she was faking her illnesses this whole time and he was just fed up. As for Lowen, i think her and Jeremy could live a better life as long as she doesn't repeat the same mistakes as verity.

It was an easy read and I finished it in 3 days. Half of the book was kya exploring & there isn’t much of a plot either.
