Anyway, the copypastas are wrong: there is no 'confusion' about who attacks, and the discrepancy between the fliers and what survival dude says is actually clearly addressed. Some people need some media literacy. I found the movie enjoyable enough. It's nothing special, but I don't regret watching it. I found the manufactured hatred between Julia and George's daughter irritating. Any adult who knew how to manage people (as Julia was supposed to), would have simply said, "Can we talk about why you're being so passive aggressive? Is it because I distrusted you at first? Because that's understandable and I'd like to find a way to move past it so you can forgive me," etc etc. I did go and buy a couple of extra bottles of distilled water during my shopping today lmao. Especially given the current tensions and political climate in many parts of the world today.

Difficult to watch. Aside from the obvious criticisms: harmful depiction of caring for an autistic person and a number of racist tropes, the movie itself feels disjointed and over the top. Like an amateur theatre production, except funded by someone's rich parents. The cringe-factor was so high at times I could hardly continue with it. Not at all recommended.

Super nostalgic - love the improved graphics. Some familiar content and a bunch of new stuff, too. I don't really understand the hate??? I enjoyed it!
