Anna Hale

I am a huge fan of the book series. A HUGE fan. Like, I wore a bucket on my waist for a year. That huge of a fan. And I am extremely disappointed with the changes made in the TV adaptation. So many plot points and characters have been changed unnecessarily. For example, Mr. Benedict comes across not as a wise mentor, but as an old loon, and Mr. Curtain is not narcoleptic (both of these I considered to be pretty important to the plot of the book series). And it gets worse and worse as the episodes progress. In episode 6, the series goes completely rogue. Nothing is at all consistent with the books. This series has been a huge disappointment to me, and I don’t recommend watching if you really like the books.
