Whilst the performances are ok, and it starts off very promising, Iโm afraid it becomes quite ridiculously laughable. Itโs as if the producers ran out of money halfway through, much like what happens to poor Emma (Sally Lindsay) , who is conned out of her life savings by Niko (Gerald Kyd). The obvious lack of funds must have caused the producers to cut back on scriptwriters or something like that , as the lines become so cliched and Neil Morrisey, who I have never much rated as an actor, really puts in a lacklustre, dreadful and wooden performance, as the hard done by ex husband, who comes to her rescue. At times his performance is so bad, you feel like giving up half way.
Give it a miss. Perhaps the only good thing about it are the aerial shots of Cyprus, which could go a long way in promoting the island by way tourism.
And the editing is shaky as well. Maybe they fired the editor and did a handjob. Itโs dreadful.
