The first half hour was a bit slow. After that the story started to make sense and I enjoyed it immensely. The cat costumes, cat-like dancing and mannerisms were wonderful. I have seen “Cats” on Broadway in NYC and on stage in Kansas City. I always wanted to see the characters closer up. The movie version allows this. Also, I wasn’t ever able to really get what the story was at the plays, but finally did at the movie. Judy Dench was AWESOME! So were Jennifer Hudson and Ian McKellen. Taylor Swift did a fantastic job, but her part was small.
