Not sure what the critics think they were expecting from an action sci-fi movie, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. It has great humor, great casting, intense action, and a fresh take on the beat up alien invasion story. Many movies fall flat in the 3rd act, but this one made me excited to see the final fight. I'd give it another watch, and I hope they make a sequel.
