I love this book! I am the Librarian of an Elementary School and I am currently reading this book to my classes. This book is rich in culture, possesses a dynamic storytelling element while providing historical context allowing the reader to experience West Africa through brilliant vibrant images. THIS BOOK IS ONE OF 3 CHOSEN FOR MY INTRO TO SPANISH COURSE AND I LOVE IT. I THINK THIS IS A PHENOMENAL POINT OF REFERENCE FOR BEGINNERS LEARNING THE SPANISH LANGUAGE AND ALSO FOR THOSE AT THE INTERMEDIATE LEVELS WHO MAY NEED A REFRESHER. I INITIALLY THOUGHT IT WAS MUCH LARGER BUT IT TURNS OUT IT ISN'T, WHICH WORKS BETTER IN TERMS OF MOBILITY. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK. PROFESSOR N'KYENGE AYANNA BROWN
