They missed a lot of opportunity in terms of character development, and the overall story line is just not up to par. While I did enjoy the movie since I’ve been waiting for a MK reboot, they failed to bring the original story and added in unnecessary twists of their own. I wish they put more effort into the characters, and not rushed the story line. Some of the actors don’t fit the characters, but big fan of the actor behind Scorpion - very good pick on that part. I hope they revive their mistakes in the next one as you can tell they’re leading to future movie spin offs.. definitely a 6/10 in my eyes.
