I think the parents should have gone to jail for reckless child endangerment. There is something wrong with them, beyond obvious ignorance and dad's shame about being a homosexual. This is about negligence and aiding a criminal by refusing to press charges. I actually think it's harmful for this woman to continue to have a relationship with her parents. And I think it's ridiculous that the mother, of all people, wrote a book. Who gets the profits, I wonder.
