The 1500

"SPOILERS IN REVIEW YOU BEEN WARNED" The first game is one of my favorites of all time. I just beat Part 2 a few minutes ago prior to this review. So prepare for a lengthy honest review. 1. Seems like alot of people did not play "The Left Behind" DLC for the first game. You find out Ellie is gay in that story. Seems tons of people found out she was during this game. Okay spoilers coming now. 2. Joel's death was a key moment. Some fans are just cry babies. I'll be honest you play as joel for barely 10 mins. Then you play as this random new character who ends up killing joel. What better way to make you feel the way Ellie felt during that scene/moment she watched one of the few people she truly loved murdered right before her very eyes and our own as viewers. Some people were just sad one of their most beloved favorite characters got killed. Like let's be honest if you didnt see joel getting killed somehow you a bozo lol. I was sad as well to keep it one hunnid. I shed a few thug tears. 3. Well then you play as Abby and I started to like her and she had her fair reasons for doing it. And throughout the game she had a change of heart. Most people dont like her kuz they cant accept the fact a woman is more swole than them 😂 like let's be real. I liked her as a character and her moments in the game are pretty crazy. 4. The ending in my opinion was another thing fans did not enjoy. "Ohh ellie had the chance and she let abby go" shut up you cry babies. There is a scene when ellie is drowning abby and a quick flash in ellies head she sees joel playing the guitar. I interpret dat as two things. Ellie realizing joel is gone and her killing abby doesnt fix anything, joel is already gone and ellie will still go thru pain after this. Or that her seeing joel was a moment like her thinking joel wouldnt want her to do this kind of moment. So she let's abby go. She ends up back at the farm and her new boo thang is gone. Theres is one last guitar moment that you play. Then ellie walks off towards the woods aka another cliff hanger ofcourse just like the first game. Do not let some fans talking down on the game affect you from getting the game enjoying it. I'm huge fan of the first and part 2 as well. That's what those fans get for having expectations. I avoided all gameplay trailers and reveals at all cost because that's how much I love this series. Neil druckman had no plans of making a 2and game they thought they ended the first one perfectly. Here we are 7 years later wit part 2 and I like this one just as much as the first even a bit more.
