Two songs among others that really stand up and in this album because of their simplicity profound and poetic melody and lyrics, the ones that seem to be the most catchy or emotional are Golden Memories and Teenage Dreams.
Carlos Simpson vocals are powerful, and I can't imagine seeing him playing live. In some of the songs, his vocal seems to get lost in the loud instrumental solos and rushed tempos.
The song Angels and Demons shines as a modern throwback to classic hair metal.
The album "Tribal Soul" brings emotional themes, such as empowerment, freedom, and loss. I can see there also a strong political touch especially in songs such as The World Belongs to Us, Angels and Demons and Notre Dame.
