I think this movie is based on a fictional society and pseudo communist thoughts that the Mall will destroy small retail business. But in reality the malls are not doing business. Kishore Biyani is in large debt as he was once called the Mughal badshah of retail business. The film should have focused on online shopping instead of mall which was the main differentiator in today’s business ecosystem! There was a sea change in way of doing business in 2009 and 2019! The film is full of melodrama and even after stellar performance of all the actors and co actors the movie failed to give any clear message to the general audience even in the last scene.
