Why all the fuss and palaver about its being live from four locations when most of it is pre filmed? The live cameras, for all the hoop la, rarely show anything of interest. And what about the obviously scripted exchanges between Packham and his step daughter? Embarrassing, especially when she gets it wrong (dupe for drupe) and has to be corrected. Perhaps this charade is because we can’t have a know all middle aged white man lecturing us so we have to pretend he is being put right by a young woman. And the giggly Michaela? Jesus. I thought I was watching Blue Peter. Iolo is great though.
