3 is a movie that's close to my heart. Watching it always makes me reminisce about some sweet events that happened in my childhood as well.
The plot is rather simple. Janani, the movie's female protagonist, finds out about her husband's death and tries to figure out what provoked him to take his own life.
What engages the audience is the screenplay and the adorable chemistry between Ram and Janani. Sivakarthikeyan has done a great job as a comedian inciting few laughs whenever he is shown on the screen. Kudos to the director for making a film about Bipolar Disorder and depression which was not explored in other films that came during the same time.
A major drawback of the movie is the slow burn pace of the second half. It could have been better if it was handled with a mystery element or expressed the pains and struggles of being a bipolar disorder patient.
Personally, I loved the film despite the second-half drag.
