Rob Lowe in that Africa ROM com was smooth n fun. This TV series may mine the feeling over shadowed say as an actor that his son may feel. I find it quick witted, nicely cast and unexpected bonus of both science as environment saving and profit maker and the Mexican landscapers, the boss fittingly a former philosophy guy. I've re-watched this show and am just delighted by the jokes and the tenderness of the father son relationship. Classic somewhat over the top support characters.

Where the food is the star and the actors are fun. Slice of Itlaians trying to make it in NY.

Compelled to see second season after a year wait. Equal to first season. About 4 moving scenes that we're transcendent. Surprises. Again, teen and adult sex and relationships portrayed more realistically and entertainingly.

What happens when you raise your family in the woods, no contact with Taco Bell or video games? And you are an ace home school teacher and use nature as your outdoor gym to rigerously raise your family, oh, and reject capitalism and ground them in people caring based anti religion? If you get Viggo Mortenson to be the dad and get children who can act, you get a splendid indie film. A couple rejects society and raises their family in the forest. Does that mean they're nuts? When they re-enter society they see our consumerist society with fresh eyes and have an opportunity to see how well the public school system is working. Viggo is born for this role. Film well done.

I was immediately swept up into the story, the setting, the characters. One could only hope for years of seasons, glad for 4. Engaging, charming, character driven. Culture clashes and the unexpected that the British, in this case, are poor. Mom's raised kids who blow her off and the main story arc is the slow civilizing of them, Greek flavor style. I'm so glad I saw such a high overall rating by reviewers. Drew me to the show and now ranks in my top 5 TV series in 55 years. Yow.

Read the books. Eventually saw the film's at the movies. Once I saw the extended versions I'd never go back unless it was on the big screen. The third is my favorite. Sam is the greatest friend. I like the bond among the team. Monumental filmaking.
