Entertaining, Family movie full of fun, smarts, quirks, and character. .. So Much Character. Absolutely hilarious.

The people are all screwed up in this movie. I like that it doesn't shy away from many of the objections that we often hear against the Catholic Church. Every bad skeleton in the closet exposed and through the character of father James the hero we learn that there IS a light in this world and some people are able to find it.

The part of Mary Magdeline was the best as it did not skimp on the details, though there is some artist interpretation it adds to the expansion of this incredible story, yet it keeps the fundamental parts. I love that it shows how we as humans might and would react to some of these events whether you are the perpetrator, victim or spectator. Personally I believe opening and reading the story in the Word of God is the Best, especially when you pray for understanding.

Good movie. Clint Eastwood knows how to pick em.
