The best teen drama. Chuck and Blair's relationship carries the show.

(spoilers ahead) This movie was truly awful. Even though it was over 2 hours, it still felt rushed. The love story wasn’t properly developed- Mr.Darcy saying I love you out of nowhere when they haven’t even had a proper conversation, Elizabeth’s fluctuating feelings (she literally went from “I hate him” to “I love him” less than 10 minutes later, again, out of nowhere. What really disappointed me was the enemies to lovers trope i was preparing myself for. There was way more fights than love and the enemy side of things wasn’t even properly displayed- it felt sparse. Movie also lacked romantic scenes. When they eventually did come to terms with their “feelings” the kiss scene wasn’t even all that. All that wait for a 5 second kiss. Where was the passion?

Great show, but only if you plan on not seeing season 8. Hyde and Jackie deserved to end up together.
