I stumbled upon this show sometime in 2012 on Youtube when I discovered the user channel makeboij, who kindly posted all of the episodes in periodic order. Despite the fact that at the time I absolutely did not understand what was happening in the videos, since they were posted without subtitles, in Finnish, I immediately became imbued with the amazing concept, atmosphere and video sequence of these videos, in which, in fact, most of the aspects were clear without understanding the language. I was absolutely blown away by originality of this Show as i've never seen anything even remotely similar. Also, these series of videos became for me my very first acquaintance with the Finnish language and the starting point for studying Finnish culture and Internet culture in general. I would like to express my gratitude to the creators of the show, Riku Rantala and Tunna Milonoff, for improving and developing our perception of international cultures of the world, as well as to the owners of the channels makeboij and MikeIAmO, who kindly uploaded episodes of the Mad Cook Show with English subtitles. After some time, I discovered other projects of Riku and Tunna, such as the legendary Madventures.
I still do not understand why Mad Cook Show was not available on official channels and sources at that time, certainly there must've been legal reasons for that. Nevertheless, I'm still extremely grateful that I found out about the dudes on YouTube, because if it weren't for the YouTube channel, I would probably never have known about the project.
Thank you very much once again to everyone involved in the creation and distribution of this Finnish masterpiece, will all seriousness I reckon that all future generations should know about the project.
