Cast a lot of information in an easy-to-watch format. Hope they manage to do the second half o his life in a susequent series

Probably one for the real aficionados, and entertaining enough for those bothered about discovering the "missing years". (There is a recurring issue about how characters developed, e.g. Anakin to Darth, which is just about plausibly done. Not sure that Hayden Christensen's voice can turn into James Earl Jones' basso profundo by putting on Darth's headgear...) The development of the young Leia, and her relationship with Obi Wan is, for those of us that are old romantics, very sweet. (As long as you put some of the technical non-sequitors to one side.) (And that goes for the whole series, BTW) Sit back and enjoy, and don't think about it too much, and I'm sure you'll enjoy!

Maybe it was because I lived through this era, which was painful for everyone - even from a distance. This was too close for comfort, despite its clever cinematography and powerful performances. Maybe an indulgence too far from the redoubtable Kenneth Branagh?

S L O W ! ! Great scenery Grim story - could have been told in half the time

Very interesting insight into the machinations of European politics ahead of the outset of WW2 Although the backstory is dubious it provides the context and dilemmas faced by those living through the rise of Hitler and the argument over appeasement. Unusually, some nuance in the characterisations give added depths to the storyline, that often in such movies, are missing. Recommended

Pretty darned good, for such a L O N G film. Managed to watch it in one go. (with a short interval, for dinner!) And good follow on (continuity with) Batman vs. Superman This was also a better Wonder Woman film than her own ('84) - she rocks and is perpetually glamourous and sexy. If you like your superhero films, you'll have a balst with this.

What a huge disappointment, after a long wait. It's too long (and that is saying a lot for a film with the gorgeous Gal Gadot in the lead). For example the whole overture was superfluous as it added nothing to the understanding of the lead character. Of course Wonder Woman's character is built on truth, beauty and love. And I know the whole thing is fantastical, but enjoyment of the superhero comics relies on the suspension of disbelief. This fails miserably on this count with its total plot reliance on a magic wish granting stone. Damn, this could have been so much more...

This wasn't really worth taking the time to make, but we watched it to the end. It was just so much less than the original (at least that I remember).

Great to see Ewan and Charlie back in the saddle (Charlie just about) McGregor has such a winning smile, but that won't get a charge for their brand new all-electric Harley Davidsons Now spoilt with first three episodes and want to watch more!
