Winter Bear

I wish it were a better movie. I debated even finishing it. I liked the male character but the female character was quite frustrating. Will did everything he could to keep his girlfriend alive, following all the instuctions provided by Evas father to keep her safe from a virus that is fatal for women, while Eva seemingly complained about all the safety measures and did nothing to really help herself. Eva seemed quite selfish and unappreciative of Wills efforts, after alittle over a year quarantined she just couldn't adapt to the life change >.> I think this movie would have been more interesting in a reverse role situation. Id have loved to see women dealing with a male targeted virus. So tired of the "damsel needs a knight" narrative, or in this case "self sabotagingly selfish damsel isnt pleased with knights efforts of rescue" narrative.
