Not only one of the greatest horror movies of all time but one of the greatest movies of all time. If you like jump scares and predictable music then this movie is NOT for you! If you like buildup, chatacterization, and dialog then this is the movie for you! The old school makeup art and special effects cannot be matched by modern computerized CGI. The actors and screenplay are superb. The movie is near flawless. IMO 50 years later, and numerous copies, none have even come close to doing it as well. I no longer get scared when I watch this movie I feel like I am experiencing an artistic masterpiece. A true legend of a horror movie.
