It is brilliant. Based in a true story, it is the retelling of the defence of a fort by a Sikh regiment, located close to the Afghan birder in 1897 during British occupation of India. The Sikh regiment of only twenty one battle against their enemies, the united local Pathan tribes. It is witty, action packed, slightly romantic (not a lot), historic, cinematographically stunning and sad. The characters are sharp on all sides and give the story its shape. This film is refreshing in its choice of subject and style. It is thoroughly entertaining. Go and see it!
