I don't know if the Baki on netflix is a different version (Netflix being the service I'm using to view this) however, this show is absolutely painful to watch. The amount of filler scenes where only characters faces are shown with exaggerated emotion is insurmountable. Fight scenes have more corny dialogue and again close ups on characters faces than actual fighting. I'm on part 2 hoping things get better but so far only the first episode was good everything else was just super disappointing. If you're looking for badass fight scenes this ain't it at all. The guy who had the nerve to compare this to dragon ball z.. I have no words for.
