Actually from the tag line we can easily make out that it ain't a fairy tale. BT after listening to the plot it's pretty apparent that it's not a natural or ordinary fairytale people dreaming of. In ordinary fairytale what happened is when a girl or guy lost the plot of his or her life and/or is in darkness... A Pari appears and light up their way. BT in Prasit Roy's fairytale a ghost+human (who is considered to be lot more powerful than an ordinary human being) is in darkness and a human I.e , Piyali aka Ritabhari helped her out. And It's ending with a message that love is above all nd it's the best Power a human or ghost can posses and it also enlightened the power of science over superstitions .
