I chose this film because of the outstanding cast and because of Cameron Crowe. I had to watch it twice to get past the military conflict and jargon to the heart of the story. I thought the acting was outstanding--their characters stayed with me enough to want to see them again--and again. It is an excellent redemption love story. I thought it was a more introspective, emotional role for Bradley Cooper, with great support from both Emma Stone and Rachel McAdams, as well as a very emotional finale by Danielle Rose Russell. In addition, and not surprisingly, the soundtrack is fabulous as well. Several songs burrowed into my brain! Ignore the critics. This is worth your time.
