*** SPOILERS ***
With the understanding that the story itself is 40 years old, it's full of tropes that are either overdone or simply don't make sense. Interfacing with a computer transfers your consciousness inside? The aliens conveniently allow access to alternate realities? Computer decides to murder crew? Ugh. While well-acted and with interesting characters, the story itself falls completely flat.
