The one star is for the ML and his family. The fl is an extremely arrogant, selfish, good for nothing girl who constantly lies and keeps the ML in the dark. You don't need a lawyer who takes USD63000 from your account to 'help' someone. Help should be within your means. Also cheating and ruining a business just because your son is sick is a lame excuse and should be punished. Yanni's husband is another guy anyone should stay away from. He's Insecure and a cheater to say the least. You don't need friends who mooch off you like Jia Jia. Overall, the show makes it seem normal to new abused by your spouse or friends. It is not OK. The ML and his sister are such amazing humans who deserve way better partners. The mom is right in saying the other girl is better for ML. She's mature, caring and qualified to be with ML. Attraction fades but friendship can grow into love

Spoiler alert: I loved the drama in the beginning. The way the second ml was always making efforts to win her over kind of broke my heart because I guess the fl never really fell for him but kept him as a temporary replacement for ml. She didn't support his dreams or take him seriously ever. He kept doing such romantic and touching things for her but she never reciprocated his feelings. In the end, if she was going to choose the ml, why did she even agree to be with the other guy. The ending was so bad. I mean the second ml built a model home for her, made her meet his parents, shared all her sorrows, never complained about his work though he had physically demanding work and always went wherever she wanted him to, did everything for her only to be left in the end for a ml with dimples? Is that it? The smart guy part or the dimples? She comes off as a hypocrite due to the ending. Other characters developed well. The acting, costumes, makeup, everything was top notch. This is the first Chinese drama I've watched where they don't put on too much white powder, heavy makeup, ott outfits and such glam stuff.
