I'm glad i can record a review and wanted to as soon as I saw the show exhibited only 4 stars on IMDB. I know 5 star ratings are difficult to come by, but I can not understand how this series could get anything less than that. The show is so clever, sweet, heartwarming, thought provoking and hauntingly realistic of a world that mirrors ours in a technologically futuristic way, that it's difficult to forget, and almost impossible not to re-watch, just to see how they manage to work small details and symbolic references in (especially now with Covid, season 2 may be an entire year and a half away). Maybe this won't be the world by 2033, but we could be going in that direction. And in some ways, we're already partly there. UPLOAD reminds us that the only thing that matters are the relationships we keep close with the people that we care most about. And that is a worthy message, not to be glossed over, because often times, we forget that.
