An extremely well acted and story gripping part of old English History. A period where scant details can lead to speculation. Mr. Cornwall has done a brilliant job of filling in the blanks. The Saxons were more advanced in culture and the story shows the once true nature of their cousins in the Danes and the ferocious fighting skills they possessed. The transformation to Christianity is enlightening !
