I am sorry to be a 'downer on all those miserable critics - I bought this for my wife as a Xmas present, never thinking I would read it. I have read every Rebus book and Reacher book (sad but true) , giving an indication of my preferences....BUT, I thought I would give it a go. How glad I did, in lockdown I have not summoned up the enthusiasm to read average books but this was so refreshing, couldn't put it down. So relaxing, amusing yes, and best book I have read for years....sorry, but GREAT
