9.5/10 “Never Lie” by Freida McFadden is an amazing and gripping psychological thriller that kept me hooked from start to finish. The plot is intricately woven, with plenty of twists and turns that keep you guessing until the very end. McFadden’s writing style is engaging and immersive, making it hard to put the book down. The characters are well-developed, and their motivations and actions are convincingly portrayed. The suspense builds steadily, and just when you think you have it all figured out, the story takes another unexpected turn. However, I felt that the Epilogue was unnecessary and didn’t add much to the overall story. It seemed like an afterthought and didn’t provide a satisfying conclusion to an otherwise stellar book. Despite this minor critique, the book remains an outstanding read. Overall, I highly recommend “Never Lie” to fans of psychological thrillers. It’s a well-crafted story that will keep you on the edge of your seat. I’d rate it 9.5/10, with the only deduction being for the somewhat lackluster Epilogue.

I’m so amazed by this book’s ending! For me, it was a -10/10 novel—completely worth it and right up my alley in terms of taste in novels. Freida, if you ever read this review, I want you to know it was the very first book written by you on my reading list, and I’m a McFan now! Thank you so much for writing such an amazing book. There were no loopholes for me, a beautifully designed cover, an amazingly simple yet complex plot that was easy to understand, and great character development. I loved this book.
