My favorite film of all time. I watched this film since I was a kid and I've loved it my whole life. I love it even more now than when I was a kid since I understand the small nuances of this film. Gene Wilder is perfect as Wonka. Some of my favorite Willy Wonka quotes include the following: - "Candy is dandy, but liquor is quicker." - (Sung) "A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men." - "Strike that, reverse it." - "If the good Lord had intended us to walk he wouldn't have invented roller skates." - "We are the music makers, and we are the dreamers of dreams." This movie is good for all ages and leaves you with a warm feeling afterwards. The songs are great, too! Except "Cheer Up, Charlie"-- that one is lame lol.
