A slight film focussing on and romanticising an adulterous pair as star-crossed lovers separated by fate. On this theme it is shallow and not exploring the emotional risks and subtle emotional effects on the victims of this - the partner and child of the woman. Nasty and pointless in many ways. Perhaps not without experience of the practical deceit needed to fool people who love you, and the emotional ambiguity - this was convincing - but the celebration of this pair as romantic leads is shallow. There is a potentially interesting storyline on the overall societal effect of more and more sophisticated online matching and what that means for us humans, but not really explored either. A shallow film I need never think about again.
