Loved this show - it was equal parts hopeful and heartbreaking, and full of magnificent women. What a fantastic cast! I couldn't help wondering what would have happened to women's rights, and America in general, if Phyllis Sclafly had joined forces with the right wing feminists of the 1970s instead of cynically exploiting housewives and religious extremists to further her own ambitions. The real kicker was the ending, when you realize that she and her movement not only delayed ratification of the ERA by 50 years, but also ushered in Reagan, and with him lowlifes like Roger Stone and Paul Manafort. And yet in 2020 the 38th state finally voted for the ERA, and women are once more ascendant as a significant political force - let's hope it has a happier ending this time.
