This documentary, with initial good intentions, actually does more harm than good through sharing misinformation about the correlation between diet and chronic illnesses such as diabetes and cancer. In particular the avocation that cholesterol and saturated fat and meats are bad for one's health.
It has been proven in more rigorous studies and anecdotally that diets with meats high in fat and cholesterol AKA kenogenic diet and very little grains as been proven to eradicate chronic illness in much of its participants, including those with malignant cancers. This documentary seems to think that cholesterol and saturated fats are bad, even though it has proven the opposite.
It is concerning that this documentary is telling people incorrect information about the correlation between meat consumption and chronic illness. The documentary The Magic Pill, and it's avocation kenogenic diet, is a more informative documentary for those concerned about diet with more well informed speakers.
