Ehhh, I watched this after watching Under the Banner of Heaven which was amaaaaazing and everyone should watch that. So I was a little disappointed by this show. It is interesting though and worth a watch, but not as gripping as I was hoping. It is more about historic documents than it is a murder mystery or about the Mormon religion.

This was an extremely great series! It saddens me that this actually happened and that there are people who live with this mindset. If you love murder mysteries or true crime, you will enjoy (and hate) watching this. The acting was superb as well. It's unbelieve that people walk around calling themselves prophet and the horrific acts that people commit in the name of religion is barbaric. I learned a lot about the Mormon religion. Scary stuff.

If you are looking for a political drama this is NOT it. Thankfully. If you're looking for an awesome murder mystery and a little sci-fi you have to watch this. I haven't found a great series in a long time, until Paradise. Glad I read the reviews first because I can't stand political drama and I would have never watched this if someone hadn't hinted that this series was so much more. My only sadness is that I can't binge it all at once. I'm on episode 3, so there's still a chance that it all falls apart, but so far it has been very worth it. Fantastic actors too!

Best movie I've watched in a while. The ending was only mediocre, but so great leading up to it.

Could have been so good, but it was mostly about a dysfunctional marriage. An abusive dad and a depressed mother. Totally took away from the apocalypse genre. I love apocalypse/survival shows because everyone works together to survive, but these characters were terrible. I love that this took place in the philipines and I love that it was dubbed over instead of subtitles, but I couldn't get to the end of the movie because the mom and dad characters were SO bad. Like depressed mom should be happy her kids are alive and not killed by zombies, instead she's moping around sulking. so annoying

No. I love sci-fi pandemic apocalypse movies, but this didn't hit the mark. It takes place in one spot, a base in the arctic. So it has that dark space vibe, which I dislike. Also the virus mutates and then they found a "cure" but it really turns them into something else. Eye roll. The first few episodes were hard to follow and I had to keep googling why someone was killed or who was the good guy or the bad guy. It has such great potential. But after introducing not one, but two insufferable bad guys/Gals, I had to quit. I almost made it to the end of season 1 but couldn't stick it out.

I really like this! What a fascinating take on the cult like culture of Catholicism. There are some super natural forces at play, but they don't detract from the message. I also love the backdrop of the remote island off the coast of New England. Creepy, but not scary. I would recommend!

I'm here to read the reviews while watching the first 25% of the movie to confirm that it's as bad as I'm thinking it is. Yes there are jump scares, so if you're only in it for that, keep watching. When the mom gets out of the shower (cliché scary vibe shower scene) and goes to check the furnace in the basement while wrapped in a towel, not even bothering to get dressed, that was too unrealistic for me. I can't watch any more. And the reviews confirmed it.

I didn't even know this was a video game and loooved this series. Can't wait for season 2. If you love dystopian, apocalyptic sci-fi, you will love this. There is some gore. Also some great humor. loved it!

I thought this was a great sci-fi movie. At first you think it's a modern version of Stepford Wives, but it's not. I recommend!
