First id like to say I was a huge fan of the original show and was excited to see the reboot. I will list the positives and negatives. First the Pros!! #1 The actors/actresses did an awesome job! They played the roles very well. #2 that’s it!!!!! Just number one!!! Now the CONs!! #1 We are bombarded everyday with the news and other outlets with Political issues and when I turn on the TV at home to watch a Sci-Fi show I don’t want more of the same. The First 4 Episodes are as follows. If you have Conservative views, you are a racist and bigot! Almost every antagonist in this show was portrayed by a white racist male. Felt like I was watching a show based in openly racist Jim crow era. #2 The development of the bad guys characters lack substance and are 100% not relative. For example, if the good guys and bad guys lose someone in the same horrible incident and you focus only on the hurt and pain of the hero’s and minimize the villain to just racist slurs that’s just lazy. In conclusion if you are of a democrat/ Liberal mindset you will probably like the show. If you are a conservative/ Republican you most likely won’t however, if you can push pass all the political stuff in the first 4 episodes it does slow down a lot of the Dem's are heroes and Republicans are evil stuff. Not the racist things that stays strong till the end.
