I think it’s a funny movie. While it does push the envelope I disagree no other movie did before then. Rocky Horror comes to mind. Or Blazing Saddles.

There is a disturbing scene in which board members are ruthlessly murdered. The sin monsters are also scary. This may scare young children.
However I enjoyed the positive messages of family love friendship and teamwork. The three stars have a great chemistry. And the diverse foster family is a great plus.
I would recommend it for anyone 13 or older.
