I love the show and its drama. It's a bit shy on the reality of ranching, but mostly forgiveable. I was bothered by the $16000 check given the widow as that factors to an average of $53 per horse. As a rancher I would have been livid that the auction virtually stole those horses, killer market would have brought more. The sentimental value was good, but you should verify facts for authenticity. Maybe I misunderstood the amount given the widow.
