Admittedly it does feel less mature than previous Dragon Age games and it does retcon a bit of the lore (mostly unimportant though, like the griffins not being extinct) and some of the dialogue is absolutely cringe, but it's not nearly as bad as people make it out to be. The gameplay is fun, the companions are mostly great, the decisions you make matter, and several parts do pay homage to the originals. It feels like Bioware wanted to do so much more, but ran out of time/budget, etc. All in all, it's a solid 7/10, in my opinion. Not nearly as good as its predecessors, but in no way the mess people are claiming it is. Buy it on sale and give it a chance before judging.

I can't say much beyond the movie does what it's supposed to do. You want gore? You'll get gore. You want Art acting funny? You get Art acting funny. If you liked one and two, you'll like three. I did also want to address Shane C's review. I guess him and a lot of people didn't know that Art was always a demon, ever since his first appearance, which actually WASN'T in Terrifier. His first appearance was in a 2013 film called All Hallow's Eve, where it was established from the get-go that he wasn't human. The first movie also hints at this toward the end, when he basically raises from the dead. So yes, the story is continued on that basis.

As a non-American who really doesn't care about the election or politics, I watched this out of pure curiosity. At the very beginning of the movie, the screenwriter admits that the film is a dramatization based on real events. I enjoyed the film. I thought it was well acted and well made, and I do think it's important for the American people. There were quite a few occurrences that made me wonder, "Is this actually true?" So I watched the movie a second time with my friend and we took notes. Every time something happened where we felt the need to ask that question, we wrote it down, then fact checked it later. As it turns out, almost everything that happens in the movie is true, by court of law. I realize the movie is basically a political hit piece on Donald Trump, but if it's true, then it should be taken seriously. I would advocate for a film about Kamala Harris, too. Wishing the best for you, America.

Can't believe I watched all the way through. Glad I at least watched it for free. What is a Woman? is still the worst Matt Walsh propaganda film, but Am I Racist? is still up there. This "documentary" doesn't make any effort to learn something or understand people from marginalized groups. As usual, it just wants to talk over them, then strokes itself on the back for... well, for nothing. Need I remind anyone that this "documentary" was made by a man who wants to lower the age of consent and admitted he wouldn't report his son if he rped his daughters? Anything that comes from him or his company is highly suspect. He complains that no one wants to review his films, yet several YouTubers—including Jessie Gender, who uploaded an over two hour response and criticism of What is a Woman? to her channel—have written extensive reviews, yet Matt's company keeps copyright striking them. So much for freedom of speech.

The main complaints I've been hearing about this game is that it's too "big and overwhelming". I'm sorry, since when is that a bad thing in a video game? I played for days and did absolutely everything. There's so much to do and see and it's truly amazing. I've played every Assassin's Creed game, from one to Odyssey, and I can safely say this is one of my favourites. It's such a breath of fresh air with the best gameplay in the entire series, hands down. Limited choices for missions (new to the franchise), amazing side quests, top notch acting (most of the actors are even actually Greek), gorgeous music and visuals, fun story, stunning DLCs. Now, this isn't a traditional AC game, as the Brotherhood doesn't exist yet. It's quite literally the start of it all. If you go in knowing that, you'll enjoy it.

The acting is top notch, the scenery is beautiful, and the music is God tier ... but unfortunately these qualities don't make a game. The story, which is the most important part, is terrible. The plot is all over the place, most of the characters are unlikable, and the "big reveal" regarding Abby's past is so incredibly weak. Worst of all, they tore Ellie down to prop Abby up. I understand what the writers were going for (it wasn't exactly subtle), but it turned the game into nothing more than a cookie-cutter revenge-obsessed violence porno with an extremely unsatisfying ending. Some people are accusing anyone who criticizes the game of being "haters" because we're "mad they killed Joel". In reality, pretty much everyone expected Joel to die. Like everything else in this game, it just wasn't handled well. Abby herself is pretty hypocritical and unbelievable, which is odd considering the devs clearly wanted players to like and sympathise with her. In the end, Ellie's the only one left with nothing and it's pretty unforgivable. Mainly because it's essentially meaningless.
