I’ve read some criticism that this is a human story, rather than an alien one… and I would agree that it’s more about how we as people react in a crisis and less about the specifics of the alien invasion (at least as far as episode 6). So, if you just want a lot of aliens graphically killing people and getting blown up, this may not be your cup of tea… but I find the slow unraveling as people learn about the these incidents, and navigate their relationships under the strain of an invasion to be a bit more interesting.
